My recent stay at Hotel Spalentor was a delightful experience from start to finish. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. the room was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the old town and right next to public transport, which was free of charge, a convenient perk. We were impressed by the daily treats left in our room and the excellent breakfast options, even if slightly limited compared to other hotels. the hotel's proximity to the botanical gardens was a bonus, allowing us to enjoy a lovely picnic with goodies from a nearby Italian deli. the Basel Card provided by the hotel was convenient for exploring the city, including the vibrant old town with its charming bars, cafes, and historic restaurants. Although we didn't have a chance to borrow movies from the DVD list, we appreciated the thought behind this service. the warm atmosphere of the hotel, combined with the friendly staff and excellent location, made our stay truly memorable. I would recommend Hotel Spalentor to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay in Basel.
